AP Revises Additional Pension Rates For Those Aged 70, 75
The Andhra Pradesh government raised the additional pension quantum to 10% for those aged 70 and 15% for those aged 75, effective from December 2026.

The Andhra Pradesh government has sanctioned an additional quantum of pension and family pension at 10 per cent of the basic pension for those who have completed 70 years of age and 15 per cent for those who have completed 75 years.
Finance principal secretary Peeyush Kumar issued GO Ms No. 126 on Tuesday, revising the earlier rates of 7 per cent and 12 per cent for pensioners aged 70 and 75 years respectively.
For pensioners aged 80, 85, 90, 95 and 100 years, the additional quantum remains unchanged at 20 per cent, 25 per cent, 30 per cent, 35 per cent and 50 per cent respectively.
The revised rates of 10 per cent and 15 per cent will come into effect from December 2026 and will be payable from January 1, 2027.
