AP Minister Says No Political Interference in State's Education System

Kakinada:Housing minister K. Parthasaradhi on Friday said the AP government is committed to providing quality education without politically interfering into the education system of the state.

Participating in the Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting at Sri Anne Ramakrishnaiah Zilla Parishad High School in Gollapalli village of Nuzvid mandal in Eluru district on Friday, Parthasaradhi said Education minister N. Lokesh has introduced several reforms aimed at improving the quality of education and enabling children from poor and middle-class families to pursue higher studies.

The minister pointed out that the alliance government has deposited ₹10,120.78 crore into the bank accounts of 67.47 lakh mothers for the second consecutive year under the Thalliki Vandanam scheme.

Parthasaradhi underlined that the state government is strengthening infrastructure in zilla parishad and government schools. It has filled the vacant 16,400 teacher posts. He commended the education provided in these schools pointing out that many people holding top positions have studied in government schools.

In Eluru district, collector K. Vetri Selvi attended the Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting at Kakarala Chandrasekhar Zilla Parishad High School in Pedapadu village. As part of the programme, students performed “Pada Puja” of their mothers.

West Godavari district collector Chadalavada Nagarani participated in the event at Zilla Parishad High School in Cherukuwada village of Undi mandal. She said government schools are now equipped with modern facilities, including computers, laboratories, and libraries.
