AP Extends Liquor Shop Application Deadline To Oct. 6
Andhra Pradesh extended the deadline for applications for 807 liquor retail shops under the 2026-27 excise policy to October 6.

The Andhra Pradesh government has extended the deadline for submission of applications for allotment of 807 liquor retail shops (A4) under the new excise policy for 2026-27 by three days, until midnight on October 6.
State Excise Commissioner Ch. Sridhar said on Thursday that the applications would be scrutinised on October 7, followed by a draw of lots on October 8 to allot licences to eligible applicants. Of the 807 liquor retail shops, 799 are in the open category and eight are reserved.
