Amaravati:  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday congratulated Himanta Biswa Sarma on taking oath once again as the Chief Minister of Assam. The Chief Minister also congratulated Assam's newly sworn-in Council of Ministers.

"Heartiest congratulations to Sarma on taking oath once again as the Chief Minister of Assam and securing a remarkable hat-trick for NDA," said Naidu in a post on X.
The CM conveyed his best wishes to the new government in Assam. Further, Naidu wished the new NDA government in Assam success in contributing to the vision of 'Viksit Bharat' (developed India) under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Himanta Biswa Sarma was sworn in as the chief minister of Assam for the second consecutive term on Tuesday, marking the formation of the third BJP-led NDA government in a row in the northeastern state. Four MLAs - BJP's Rameshwar Teli and Ajanta Neog, AGP's Atul Bora, Charan Boro of BPF - also took oath as ministers.  Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office a grand ceremony held at the Veterinary Ground in Khanapara area in Guwahati.
