Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers), in association with Exhibition Catalyst, will organise the Green India Conference (GIC) 2026 in Vijayawada on June 12 to discuss opportunities and challenges in the clean energy sector. The conference will be held at SS Convention as part of the three-day Green Energy India Expo 2026 from June 11 to 13 under the theme, “Andhra Pradesh – The Gateway to India’s Green Energy Future.” AP Chambers president Potluri Bhaskara Rao said the event would focus on investment opportunities, policy initiatives, infrastructure development, workforce preparedness and consumer issues in the green energy sector. Panel discussions will examine green energy investments, agrivoltaics for agriculture and rural livelihoods, and the development of a green-collar economy to generate employment. Sessions will also address policy measures needed to make Andhra Pradesh a green energy exporter and challenges in developing 80 GW of grid evacuation infrastructure over the next two years. Government officials, industry leaders and energy experts are expected to participate in the conference.
