ANM Found Dead At Village Secretariat In Nellore District
The deceased, identified as Sripati Sai Chandana Priya, was a native of Rajupalem village in Ojili mandal and was working as an ANM at the Tonukumala Village Secretariat.
NELLORE: A 27-year-old Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) was found dead at the Tonukumala Village Secretariat in Chillakur mandal of SPSR Nellore district on Thursday. Police said they are investigating the case.
The deceased, identified as Sripati Sai Chandana Priya, was a native of Rajupalem village in Ojili mandal and was working as an ANM at the Tonukumala Village Secretariat.
According to the police, she was found unresponsive at the Secretariat during the afternoon. Local residents alerted the authorities, and she was declared dead.
Police said they recovered a note in which she reportedly stated that no one should be held responsible for her death. The contents of the note are being verified as part of the investigation.
Chillakur sub-inspector P. Suresh Babu and his team visited the spot, conducted a preliminary inquiry and shifted the body to the Gudur Area Hospital for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
