Former Minister Donates Gold Ornaments, Cash To Srisailam Temple

KURNOOL: Former minister Siddha Raghava Rao and his wife made offerings to the Srisailam Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Temple on Thursday.

The couple donated Rs 3 lakh to the temple’s Nitya Annadanam scheme and presented gold bangles worth Rs 27 lakh to Goddess Bhramaramba as part of the Ashada festivities. The offerings were handed over to temple executive officer M. Srinivasa Rao.

The family also performed ‘abhishekam’ and special pujas to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy, besides offering ‘kumkuma puja’ to Goddess Bhramaramba.

Temple officials said the contribution would support the temple's religious and charitable activities.
