Andhra Pradesh: ₹759.79 Crore Sanctioned For Amaravati Sanghamam

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh government has accorded administrative sanction of ₹759.793 crore for construction of Amaravati Sanghamam at Sakhamuru in Amaravati.
Municipal administration and urban development principal secretary S. Suresh Kumar issued GO RT No. 1115 on Monday for the project comprising a state public library, an auditorium and a Global Institute of Good Governance.
The department of public libraries will contribute ₹310.080 crore, the Andhra Pradesh Human Resources Department Institute ₹277.94 crore, and the AP Capital Region Development Authority ₹171.64 crore.
Any future cost escalation will be shared by the three agencies in proportion to the benefits derived by each, subject to applicable approvals and rules in force.
