Andhra Pradesh: 500 Couples Take Part In Srinivasa Vratham At Dokiparru Temple

VIJAYAWADA: The Srinivasa Vratham was conducted with devotional fervour at the Sri Bhu Sametha Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Dokiparru Mahakshetram on Sunday, with around 500 couples and hundreds of individual devotees participating.
The temple premises reverberated with Govinda Nama as devotees offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. Vedic scholars performed Ganapati Puja, Punyahavachanam and Kalasha Sthapana, followed by special worship, Ashtottara Shatanamavali, Mantrapushpam, Naivedyam and Maha Harathi.
Pamireddy Prasanna participated in the special worship and prayed for people’s well-being, happiness, peace and harmony. Participants later had darshan and received Theertha Prasadam.
