Anantapur Man Dies in Road Accident in US
He had completed his studies at Kent State University in Ohio and was working as a software engineer in the US.
Anantapur:A 34-year-old Telugu man from Anantapur, Nissar Sheikh Ahmed, died in a road accident in the Little Rock area of Arkansas in the United States, sources said.
The accident reportedly occurred while Nissar was driving to meet a friend. He had completed his studies at Kent State University in Ohio and was working as a software engineer in the US.
Sources said his father, Sheikh Saifuddin, had recently undergone heart surgery and was recovering when the family learnt of Nissar’s death.
The family has appealed to the government to make arrangements to bring Nissar’s mortal remains to his native place. His friends and representatives of several Telugu associations are also making efforts to provide financial and other assistance to the family.
AP state muthavallis association president and TD leader K. Shakil Shafi urged Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT minister Nara Lokesh to take steps to help the family.
