AIIMS Mangalagiri Holds Walkathon, Flash Mob On Organ Donation

VIJAYAWADA: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri, organised a walkathon and flash mob on Thursday to create awareness among patients, attendants, healthcare professionals, students and the general public about the importance of organ donation.

The walkathon began at 6 am from the IPD-OPD Junction and culminated at the auditorium. Executive director Ahanthem Santa Singh and other faculty members participated.

The programmes aimed to raise awareness about organ donation, dispel misconceptions and encourage people to donate organs.
