2 Nellore Teachers Selected for Finland Training
Dominic Reddy and Dr Chennayya were among the recipients of the State Best Teacher Awards presented by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on September 5, 2025.
Nellore:Two government school teachers from SPSR Nellore district — K. Dominic Reddy of MKR Government High School, Indukurpet, and Dr Cheedarala Chennayya of Penuballi Main School, Buchireddypalem — have been selected for a specialised training programme in Finland.
They will leave on August 15 to attend the FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) training programme from August 17 to 26. The programme focuses on strengthening foundational literacy, numeracy and learning skills among primary-level students.
A total of 29 State Best Teacher Award winners from Andhra Pradesh will participate in the training.

District educational officer R. Balaji Rao and other education officials congratulated the two teachers, saying their selection for the international training programme was a matter of pride for SPSR Nellore district.
