Suvendu Meets Mukesh Ambani to Seek Investments in West Bengal

Kolkata: In a bid to attract investments in West Bengal after the change in power, chief minister Suvendu Adhikari met industrialist Mukesh Ambani and discussed industrial prospects at his residence in Mumbai during a visit on Monday evening.

The CM posted on X-handle on Tuesday morning, “Yesterday I visited the residence of renowned Industrialist and Chairman of Reliance Industries, Shri Mukesh Ambani Ji, in Mumbai.”

He elaborated, “Had the divine privilege of offering prayers before Lord Ganesha, seeking His supreme blessings for the peace, progress and prosperity of our Nation.

As a sacred token carrying the soul, spirit and timeless devotion of our State, I had the honour of presenting a special holy memento of Maa Kali to the Ambani family, praying that the Divine Mother blesses them with good health, happiness and continued success.”

Mr Adhikari added, “During our warm interaction, we also exchanged thoughts on the immense possibilities for industrial growth and employment generation in West Bengal.

Our State is ready to welcome visionary investments that empower our youth and drive sustainable economic resurgence.

His meeting with Mr Ambani came three months after his discussion with industrialist Gautam Adani’s son, Karan Adani, who is managing director of Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone, about the relocation of a proposed deep sea port project to Dadanpatrabar from Tajpur in East Midnapore.
