Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president A. Revanth Reddy said that the BRS government had ignored Telangana IPS cadre officers while giving new postings on Thursday. “The roots of Telangana are missing in Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s rule,” he said, reacting to a slew of changes in the police leadership.

Stating that gross injustice had done to the Telangana native IPS officers, he said in on Twitter: “In Kalvakuntla kingdom, Telangana word is missing in party affairs as well as in administration.” Even the TRS was renamed to remove the word Telangana from it, he pointed out.

Revanth Reddy also expressed grief over the sudden demise of Pakala Harinath Rao, father-in-law of IT minister K.T. Rama Rao. He expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members.
