Mizoram, Telangana Speakers Discuss Legislative Cooperation
Telangana Speaker also praised Mizoram's governance system and highlighted the state's peace and stability as qualities from which Telangana could draw inspiration.

Hyderabad: Mizoram Assembly Speaker Lalbiakzama on Wednesday called on his Telangana counterpart Gaddam Prasad Kumar at the Vidhan Sabha in Hyderabad, where the two leaders discussed strengthening inter-state legislative cooperation and sharing governance practices, an official statement said here. During the meeting, the two Speakers exchanged views on the functioning of their respective state Assemblies.
Lalbiakzama said Mizoram values the experience and guidance of larger and more developed states such as Telangana and expressed hope for closer collaboration between the two states, the statement said.
Kumar also praised Mizoram's governance system and highlighted the state's peace and stability as qualities from which Telangana could draw inspiration, it said.
Lalbiakzama also invited the Telangana Speaker to visit Mizoram at the earliest convenient opportunity, the statement added.
