HMRL bags Construction Week India Award

The L&T project bagged award under the category of ‘Metro Rail Project - Lifecycle Economic Benefits’

HYDERABAD: L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited clinched the prestigious Construction Week India Awards-2021 under the category of the ‘Metro Rail Project - Lifecycle Economic Benefits’. Sudhir Chiplunkar, chief operating officer, L&T MRHL received the award at a gala ceremony in Mumbai on November 26, in the presence of industry veterans and other winners.

Speaking on the occasion, K.V.B. Reddy, MD & CEO, L&T MRHL, said, “We are honoured to receive the prestigious award and thank the Construction Week for this recognition.

As the world’s largest metro project under the PPP model and India’s second-largest metro network, we are consistently raising our bar in terms of providing the most viable travel option. During the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic times, Hyderabad Metro Rail has emerged as the safest travel option transporting lakhs of people daily with utmost safety protocols in place.”
