Y.S. Viveka’s wife and daughter against bail to murder accused

HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court on Thursday allowed the wife and daughter of former Kadapa MP, Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy to submit their contentions in a bail petition filed by Yadati Sunil Yadav, accused No. 2 in Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case.

Justice Chillakur Sumalatha allowed the implead petitions filed by Y.S.
Sowbhagya, and her daughter Dr. Suneetha Nareddy, who urged the court to hear their grievances before taking any decision in the bail petition.

They submitted that Sunil Yadav had played a major role in the plot to kill
Vivekananda Reddy and they were in mental trauma since the tragedy. They
apprehended that evidence could be tampered by Yadav if gets bail. Their counsel requested the court to adjourn the hearing to next week.

On other hand, T.L. Nayan Kumar, counsel for  Yadav objected to the adjournment by submitting that his client has been in Jail since August 2021.He said that his client was a small person and has been falsely implicated while the big ones were left free.

The court adjourned the hearing to February 27.
