Hyderabad: Doctors hold stir against NMC Bill

Hyderabad: A protest against the National Medical Commission Bill by doctors from Telangana was organised in New Delhi on Monday. They said this bill was detrimental to medical education.

Meanwhile, Telangana Indian Medical Association president Dr Pratap Reddy fainted during the protest and was provided medical care. All major IMAs from different states joined the agitation and stated that the bill would reduce the scope of modern medicine in India.
