RJD, Congress Responsible For "Dividing Minority Votes": AIMIM's Waris Pathan Amid Vote Counting In Bihar

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Waris Pathan on Friday said that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress of the Mahagathbandhan were responsible for "dividing minority votes".He dismissed AIMIM's criticism of being the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) 'B team'.

Pathan argued that his party's lead in a few seats in the Bihar assembly election results was a "huge boost" and expressed hope for winning in at least seven constituencies.

The AIMIM leader said that his party had offered to join the Mahagathbandhan with only six seats."This is a huge boost for us that we are leading. We hope to win a total of 7-8 seats by the end of the counting. The RJD and Congress are themselves responsible for the division of Minority votes, as we had offered them the opportunity to come together by seeking only six seats from the Mahagathbandhan, but they refused. First in Maharashtra and now in Bihar, they called us B team and faced defeat and humiliation," Pathan said.

Clear Collusion in Bihar: Gehlot Slams EC Over Vote Theft Charge

"The assembly results are disappointing. It seems to me that the payments of Rs 10,000 to women were continuing even when the election campaign was on; such a thing never happens. In Bihar, the Election Commission remained a mute spectator. Why did it not stop this? It did not intervene at all. When you do not ensure fair elections, when booth capturing or dishonesty takes place, and the Election Commission takes no action, that is vote theft. There was clear collusion with the ruling party," said senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot.

Public Contact, Not Rallies: Digvijaya Singh Asks Cong To Pay Attention At Booth Level

Amid Congress' dismal performance in the Bihar elections, MP Digvijaya Singh on Friday urged the party to pay "special attention" to its organisation at the booth level, instead of public meetings.

Sharing an X post, Digvijaya Singh also alleged electoral fraud, claiming that 62 lakh votes were cut, 20 lakh votes were added, out of which 5 lakh votes were cast without filling the enumeration form during the SIR exercise.

He wrote, "What I suspected has come true. 62 lakh votes were cut, 20 lakh votes were added, out of which 5 lakh votes were cast without filling the SIR form. Most of the votes cut were from the poor, Dalits, and minority classes. On top of that, there remains suspicion over the EVM.""@INCIndia needs to pay special attention to its organisation. Today's election is about intensive public contact at the polling booth, not rallies and public meetings. Congratulations and best wishes to the victorious candidates," he added.

Siddaramaiah Alleges ‘Vote Chori’ in Bihar as NDA Surges Ahead

"There was vote chori in Bihar too. I don’t yet know who didn’t vote for us or why the NDA is winning with such a big majority, but something is not right. When the Election Commission doesn’t act, when dishonesty happens, when booth-level manipulation goes unchecked — that is vote theft. They have done chori there too"

Electoral conspiracy exposed, Akhilesh Yadav blames SIR for Gathbandhan's poor show in Bihar polls

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, terming the party as a "deceit" and blaming the Special Intensive Revision for trends predicting Mahagathbandhan's dismal loss in Bihar elections.

He termed the SIR as an "electoral conspiracy", asserting that after Bihar, it won't be possible in other states, including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh or any other state."The game that the Sir played in Bihar will no longer be possible in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh or anywhere else, because this electoral conspiracy has now been exposed.

From now on, we will not let them play this game. Just like CCTV, our 'PPTV' -- meaning 'PDA Prahari' -- will stay alert and foil the BJP's intentions. The BJP is not a party, it is a deceit (BJP dal nahi chhal hai)," Yadav wrote on 'X'.  — ANI
