According to a story published in The Daily Star, the 64-year-old has received wedding invitations from men as young as 21. One source told the paper that a lot of people write to her from all over the world and she will often respond.
The source went on to add, “Then a friendship strikes up. Before you know it, some tragic case somewhere is saying they want to marry her.”
More often than not she will explain it might be a little bit difficult given that she is facing the rest of her life in prison, the source further added.
West, 63, got life in 1995 for her part in ten murders, including that of her daughter.
Her husband and accomplice Fred, 53, hanged himself in jail while awaiting trial.
She is now on F wing at Low Newton prison in Durham and classed as Restricted Status, the female equivalent of a high security Category A male prisoner.
