Heartbreaking Facebook post about Afghan refugee having to leave school in Pakistan

As the tense situation in India and Pakistan has triggered discussions, fiery speeches and reactions ranging from war mongering to calls for exercising restraint, people across the border are facing another heartbreaking situation.

Refugees have been given till December 2016 to stay in Pakistan by the government, but harassment and restrictions have been making it difficult for them to reside there. Like most conflicts and policies in the world, it’s the children who are paying the price for this one as well.

The images of an Afghan boy in tears while receiving his school leaving certificate has gone viral as people users have found this consequence extremely saddening. The boy was born in a refugee camp near Peshawar, Pakistan, and has grown up and studied in the country.

Now that his family has to leave, the class XI went to class one last time to get his leaving certificate and broke down. The pictures were shared by users across Pakistan.
