Sheraton Hyderabad Marks I-Day with Bravery Brunch Honouring Army
From Momos to Missal Pav, the special brunch at Feast Restaurant brings India’s regimental flavours to the plate this August 15
Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel is set to celebrate India’s 79th Independence Day in a truly patriotic fashion with a themed brunch that pays tribute to the country’s armed forces. Titled the ‘Bravery Brunch’, the event will take place at the hotel’s Feast Restaurant on Friday, August 15, and promises a unique culinary journey inspired by the rich and diverse food traditions of various Indian Army regiments.
Curated under the theme “Regimental Zaikas,” the brunch brings together flavours that resonate deeply with India’s military heritage. Each dish on the menu is rooted in the culinary culture of a specific army regiment — reflecting the regions they represent and the stories they carry. Guests can expect an immersive experience with dishes such as Momos and Thukpa from the Gorkha Regiment, Missal Pav from the Maratha Light Infantry, Smoked Pork with Bamboo Shoot from the Naga Regiment, and Litti Chokha from the Bihar Regiment, among others. The event aims to evoke the essence of a traditional army mess, celebrating the spirit of camaraderie, nostalgia, and unity that defines the Indian Army.
In addition to the specially curated Indian dishes, the brunch will also feature international favourites, indulgent desserts, live counters, and an array of themed mocktails and cocktails. The entire setting will be brought to life with patriotic décor and music, enhancing the overall ambience of national pride and celebration.
As a mark of gratitude, Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel is offering a 50% discount to defence personnel and their families for this event. The brunch is priced at ₹3000++ per person and will be held from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM on August 15 at Feast Restaurant, located within the hotel premises in Gachibowli.
