Growing a beard for the first time?  It’s best recommended to get professional help. If you prefer to do it by yourself, invest in the right tools. Pick up a good trimmer,  with attachable grades to achieve the desired length. You also need beard balm and beard oil, to nourish the skin underneath. This will help to style your beard and also prevent your skin from drying and flaking.

Always start with the longer length grade. Beginners can trim their beard and moustache one length, which gives way to less chances of messing it up. Right trimming is the key. Use a three-way mirror for perfection.

Work on your beard downwards first and then across. Trim it short on the hair lines which makes it look natural. Comb it in a preferred beard style and cut accordingly in order to achieve precision.

Never skip a daily face cleanser. Use a shampoo and a conditioner on your beard every alternate day. Using a sun protection moisturiser is a must.
