An artist for many years, Parbonni Bhowmik has been creating paintings that resonate with her soul. She got a classical education in architecture, but considers herself, first and foremost an artist.

Besides doing other things, she never stopped drawing and continued to focus on her art. If it’s a painting of your favourite holiday spot, a feeling you want to portray on your walls, a quote that inspires you, a flower that reminds of a special someone, then she can do it.

“Lifeonwall.in provides this distinctive deal, to create a personalised painting at an affordable price. One can select a canvas size from any dimension, orientation, subject, colour palette and medium and after a conversation we begin the work that starts with uploading a reference image, selecting your requirements and adding a description of your idea.

For portraits, it would just be uploading a reference image and selecting a canvas size. Art is not business, it is creation, love, feelings and all those other things that other artists paint. I also encourage young artists who work with us and are very talented,” says Parbonni who has done wall murals for restaurants, offices and houses and won the pink power award by Inorbit mall.

With her venture anybody can place a custom made art order, to suit his likings.
After her graduation, she got introduced to the world of graphic design, and worked as a chief graphic designer in Bengaluru.

But soon, she found her calling. “I loved painting even when I was working as a graphic designer in an architecture firm. After hectic office hours, I would stay up late creating a painting. It was some kind of an energy that pushed me and I would post my finished art pieces online, on social media and used to get an immense amount of support and encouragement from friends and family. And then one day I got a call from Artflute that a buyer from the US wants to buy two of my paintings. I’m a self-taught painter and used to paint purely for self-expression. I had never imagined that I would be selling my paintings. One after another, the sales started increasing, steering me to quit my job and pursue a career of a freelance graphic artist and a painter. I won recognition and an opportunity to have a space of my own to display my paintings for my startup lifeonwall.in,” adds the entrepreneur who is now planning to organise paint parties for people with no art background as a great way to spend the weekend.
