Chiranjeevi felicitates Taxiwala team

Actor Chiranjeevi has always shown his appreciation for movies that have fared well, be they big or small. And he has done the same for Vijay Deverakonda’s hit film Taxiwala that impressed at the box-office.  In what was a gesture of appreciation, the senior actor invited the Taxiwala team to his house and felicitated them.

Srinivas, known as SKN, had started his career first as a journalist and then a PRO before turning producer with this film. The film also saw Rahul Sankrityan make his debut as director, while Priyanka Jawalkar was launched as a female lead. Taxiwala was made in Rs 3 crore and has now collected more than Rs 20 crore.

Chiranjeevi praised the director and producer, and congratulated them on their success. With Taxiwala being pirated prior to its release, the actor was curious about how the film was leaked. He profusely complimented Vijay Deverakonda, who couldn’t make it to his home, as he is currently shooting in Kakinada for an upcoming film.
