Balayya to lock horns with Mammootty
Rumour has it that the makers of the Yatra and NTR are planning to release both their films for Sankranti 2019.
Come 2019, and Tollywood will once again witness the clash of two of the most iconic personalities in Telugu history — NTR and YSR.
Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is starring in NTR biopic, has stated that the film based on the life of his late father, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, will hit screens on Sankranti 2018. The prestigious project will go on floors soon.
Meanwhile, director Mahi V. Raghava has announced that his film Yatra, former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s biopic, will go to floors in June.
Rumour has it that the makers of the Mammootty-starrer are also planning a Sankranti release.
A source says, “Since Sankranti is a festive time, the filmmakers believe they will have a greater chance of earning high box office revenues then.”
