First release after Baahubali

While the Baahubali mania has gripped everyone, the first film to hit the screens after the mega film is Babu Baga Busy, directed by debutant Naveen Medaram. The film is all set to hit the screens on May 5, just a week after Baahubali 2.

“We already booked the theatres and it’s going to be a big release for a small film,” says producer Abhishek Nama, adding that he got good theatres even in Nizam and other areas. He says that he believes in the content, so he is not scared to release the film within a week after a big film. “I think all films will do well if content is good,” justifies Abhishek.

Avasarala Srinivas plays the lead in the film which has four female leads. “One needs guts to make this kind of film. When I saw Hunterrr, I felt that it was good to be remade in Telugu. There is not much vulgarity in the Telugu film. When you are watching this film, you can see one’s life. It’s like how three friends sit together and talk about things,” says director Naveen Medaram.
