Kalyanram switches tracks

Kalyanram is all set to try his hand out at a new genre — the family drama. The actor, who has been working on action and commercial potboilers of late, feels that a family drama will be a welcome break at this point in his career, and has signed a new film under debutant director Vashista. A source informs, “Vashista has penned a script that would be high on family values and human emotions.

He narrated the script to Kalyanram who took a liking to it. Excited to work on a family drama after a long time, the actor instantly flagged off the project.” Pre-production work is on in full swing and the director is currently finalising the cast and crew.
