Nagarjuna has a lot on his mind these days. While the actor’s own career is going great, his two sons aren’t faring too well on the work front. As the senior actor now explores opportunities in Hindi and Tamil cinema as well, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil are still searching for a big break. Naga Chaitanya’s last two films didn’t do well at the box-office and Akhil is yet to score a hit after his debut. “Nagarjuna is now a bit concerned about his two sons and has advised them to choose better scripts,” says a source.

Several young actors are experimenting with novel scripts and subsequently earning box-office success, like the recent hit Taxiwala. “But the Akkineni brothers are still making formula films and the script seems to be going wrong. So Nagarjuna has asked them to pick their scripts with care and not hurry to release a film until the final product is perfect,” says the source.

Akhil Akkineni is presently working with Venky Atluri for Majnu, which is the director’s second film, while Chaitanya is being directed by debutant Shiva Nirvana. These two films are going to be crucial for the brothers, given the stiff competition in the industry, a fact that was pointed out by Nagarjuna himself in an earlier interview. The makers of Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming Majili released the film’s first look on the occasion of his birthday on Friday.
