The buzz surrounding Jayalalithaa’s biopic seems to be getting bigger each day!  A day after producer Vishnu Induri officially announced the biopic of the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, there was another announcement from Priyadarshini, a protégé of director Mysskin that she would be helming the project.

Now comes yet another announcement from veteran director Bharathi Raja that he will wield the megaphone for the prestigious film to be produced under Bharadwaj, who also announced that maestro Ilayaraja would be providing tunes for the film. Not just that, Bharadwaj apparently went a step ahead and announced that he is planning to approach Aishwarya Rai and Anushka Shetty to reprise Jayalalithaa’s role.

With three separate announcements coming from various filmmakers, the biopic seems mired in controversy. Vishnu Induri, who’s bankrolling the Jayalalithaa biopic directed by A.L. Vijay, says that he has the legal clearance to go ahead and make the film.

“We have no objections from people making announcements on Jayalalithaa garu’s biopic. It could be their vision and interpretation of her personality. However, we have been cleared by our legal team to go ahead with the film,” explains Vishnu, who adds that thorough research has gone into the pre-production work of their film.

“We spent more than a year researching her personality, speaking to scores of people who are close to her and conducting several interviews too,” he adds.
