Farah Karimaee in Akhil-starrer

Farah Karimaee scored brownie points for her portrayal as Arvind Swami’s girlfriend in Ram Charan-starrer Dhruva, and as a Greek princess in Gauthamiputra Satakarni.  Although the actress has played only small roles, filmmakers noticed her performance. And now it looks like the Holland-born and raised actress is eyeing bigger roles.

Buzz is that Farah is in talks for a special number in Akhil Akkineni’s forthcoming film, directed by Venky Atluri. The film reportedly has scope for a special number and the director has been on the lookout for someone who can groove to the peppy lyrics.

The director apparently saw Farah’s earlier performances and wanted to have her on board. Her expressive side, coupled with her ability to get the dance moves right, earned her the project.

A source says, “Director Venky needs a fresh face and someone who is good at dance. Since the Telugu audience hasn’t seen much of Farah, he felt she would bring a fresh appeal to the song.”
