No takers for Vikram’s action film?

Blame it on his recent spate of failures at the box-office. Actor Vikram’s forthcoming film, Mr K K, hasn’t been garnering any curiosity, neither among the trade circles nor the audience.

Directed by Rajesh M. Selva of Thoongavanam fame, the action thriller shows Vikram in the role of a gangster who rules the Malaysian underworld. However, the low buzz around the film seems to be a matter of concern for the Telugu distributors, especially as the actor’s last few releases haven’t done well at the box-office.

A source informs, “It’s true that Vikram’s last few releases in Telugu haven’t fared well, but the performer that he is, trade seems to be pinning hopes on Mr K K. Although the film features high-octane action scenes, the going seems to be tough for the film.”

Meanwhile, Akshara Haasan, the film’s leading lady, will be seen in the role of a pregnant woman.
