All in the family

Although veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao’s son, Prakash Kovelamudi entered film direction long ago, he is still in need of a break. His last film, Size Zero was not only a big dud at the box office, but also got criticised by everyone for its pathetic direction. Now, he is coming up with a new story and has roped in young actor Sharwanand. Interestingly, Baahubali producers Shobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni will produce this film.

“Though it is a small film for them when compared to the gigantic Baahubali, they want to help Prakash get a break,” says a source. Shobhu is the son-in-law of K. Raghavendra Rao, Prakash’s father, which explains the involvement. The shooting of this film may kick start once Sharwanand completes his ongoing project with director Maruthi and a film with Keshava helmer Sudheer Varma.
