Manjusha is looking for decent roles
And wherever she goes, she's asked why she hasn't done any more films.
It’s been nearly 12 years since Manjusha played Jr NTR’s sister in Rakhi. And she has yet to sign another film. Talking about her extended break, the actress says, “While doing that film I was a first-year Intermediate student. After that, I decided to concentrate on my studies, and went on to complete my post-graduation.” Manjusha is now a popular face on television. She anchors TV shows and live events.
And wherever she goes, she’s asked why she hasn’t done any more films. “Actually, I have been approached with many filmmakers, but I only want to do decent roles. I am ready to do a film in which I don’t have a lengthy part, but it should be prominent and key to the story,” she says.
Over the last few years, Manjusha has done nearly 3,500 interviews, and she has won a Nandi Award for anchoring the show My Choice. “It’s not compulsory for me to do films. I am busy anchoring, doing live events, online shows, and television. If a good offer comes my way, then I am ready to act,” she says.
