The entire film industry is wondering what is wrong with senior actor Ravi Teja, who is constantly flip-flopping over his choice of films. Recently, director Ajay Bhupathi of RX100 fame tweeted ‘Cheap Star’ without mentioning any names. But a source clarifies that the tweet was in fact, directed towards Ravi Teja, who was supposed to work with the director in Maha Samudram until at the very last minute, he started to throw his typical tantrums, forcing a vexed Ajay Bhupathi to tweet about him in this fashion.

Interestingly, Bhupathi had narrated Maha Samudram to quite a few stars before finally zeroing in on Ravi Teja and Siddharth. “They had given an advance to Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari for playing the other leads in the multi-starrer. Even the shoot date was fixed but all of a sudden, Ravi Teja started dodging the director, who got so enraged that he told the producer Kiran that he would not work with the actor as he was resorting to cheap tricks,” reveals the source.

Earlier too, Ravi Teja had ditched director Venu Sriram. The film was officially launched and was supposed to be produced by Dil Raju, but at the last minute, Ravi Teja pulled out, citing remuneration problems. The actor’s present project, Disco Raja also seemed under threat, giving a big scare to director Vi Anand, but thankfully, seems to be back on track once again. Sources reveal that Ravi Teja got an offer to do the remake of Vikram Vedha, which is why he backed out of Ajay Bhupathi’s film.
