Nikhil Siddharth's next rolls out

Actor Nikhil Siddharth’s next film, the Telugu remake of Tamil film Kanithan, went on floors in Hyderabad on Saturday. Tamil director T.N. Santhosh, who helmed the original, is also directing the Telugu version.  The action thriller is about how an investigative reporter brings down a ring that forges degree certificates.

The filmmakers are hoping that the Telugu version will strike a chord with the audience at the box office, and perform better than it did in Tamil. The leading lady and the title  of the film are yet to be finallised.

Meanwhile, Nikhil is awaiting the release of his another film Kirrak Party, a remake of Kannada film with the same name.
