A still from Ami Tumi

Sesh Adivi is coming up with the film Ami Tumi, directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna. “I am attempting a comic role for the first time. Since my mother tongue is Telugu, getting the comic timing right was never difficult. Also, the director made things easy for me when it came to dialogues. I enjoyed a lot while shooting as I liked the typical Telugu dialogues,” says the actor.

Sesh adds that he always wanted to work with director Indraganti. “I always wanted to work with Indraganti. When he had narrated about my character and script of Ami Tumi, I thought the role came like a breath of fresh air. Also, his planning has been important in being able to complete the film in time.”

Talking about the romantic comedy, he says that the film is different from Indraganti’s earlier film Ashta Chemma.

“Ami Tumi is a comic caper while Ashta Chemma was a bit high on emotions. Also, my character has a romantic side too.”

After the success of Kshanam, Sesh had built an image for himself, but he says that he wants to try all kinds of roles.

“I proved my ability to play grey shades with Panja, and now Ami Tumi brings my comic skills to the fore. So I believe in exploring various roles,” he says.

Talking about his upcoming film, he reveals that he has signed Gudachari. “I wrote the story, and Sasikiran Tikka is directing it.”
