Leaning in, stylishly

The buzz surrounding Allu Arjun’s forthcoming film Ala Vaikunthapurramulo has just gotten bigger. The film has already been making headlines for its stellar cast, with Allu Arjun, Tabu, Pooja Hegde and Nivetha Pethuraj. Now, the first look of the actor has further elevated expectations from it. The film’s first look, which was released on Sunday, shows Allu Arjun at his modish best, seated on a stool as he lights up a cigar. While the poster doesn’t reveal much about the film’s plotline, we can tell that the film certainly has a stylish quotient, and Allu Arjun seems like a seamless fit.

“The story revolves around a house named ‘Vaikunthapuramlo’. And director Trivikram Srinivas is leaving nothing to chance to make this film a hit. Be it his witty one-liners, layers in characters or churning out emotional content, the film has everything,” informs one of the filmmakers.

The breezy entertainer, which is slated for 2020 Sankranti release, is being jointly bankrolled by Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations.
