I am a quick learner: Akanksha Singh

After the success of her debut film in Telugu, Akanksha Singh has signed a new multi-starrer (co-starring Nani), directed by Sriram Adittya. The actress will be seen as Nagarjuna’s love interest.

Talking about how she landed the project, Akanksha shares, “I had auditioned for the part and mouthed a few lines in Telugu. Then, I was told that I was on board.”

Akanksha says that her debut film helped her come to terms with the language. “Having worked in a Telugu film earlier, I am familiar with the language. I can pick up my lines and emote the right expressions. People on the sets were shocked to see me pick up Telugu so quickly.”

The actress adds that she knew Nagarjuna before. “When I was working for my debut film Malli Raava with Sumanth, I came to know that he and Nag sir are relatives. He’s a superstar and now I look forward to shooting with him.”
