Spotlight on farmers

Director V. Samudra, who has super hit films like Simharasi, Sivaramaraju, Tiger Harischandraprasad, Evadaite Nakenti and Adhinetha to his credit, is ready with a new project titled Jai Sena, which has the tagline —  The Power of Youth. Srikanth and Sunil are playing important roles in the emotional and youthful film which carries a powerful message.

“Farmers are the backbone of the country. My film shows students fighting against the government and the politicians to save farmers from being exploited. It showcases the real life distress of farmers and the kind of predicaments they are subjected to. We shot the film for over two months in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka,” says the director.

Meanwhile, Sai Arun Kumar, who is bankrolling the film, shares, “The shooting is complete and we are currently in the post-production stage. The first look will be released very soon.”
