Winner of Bigg Boss 11, Shilpa Shinde, has extended her support to current Bigg Boss 20 contestants, Qazi Touqeer and Mahhi Vij.
She came out in their support, saying they have been dealing with disagreements inside the house.
In a video shared on social media, Shinde said conversations inside the Bigg Boss house repeatedly revolve around Qazi and Mahhi. She also questioned the other contestants for spending too much time discussing them instead of focusing on their individual games.
Drawing a comparison between the current Bigg Boss season and her recent reality show experience in Lock Upp Season 2, she pointed out that Gullu appears to be getting influenced by other contestants, much like Varun used to be influenced by Ram Kapoor.
She also questioned the behaviour of some of the current contestants, saying that early success should not make anyone look down on others. She urged them to stay grounded and remember that circumstances can change.
Shinde also addressed the common allegation that reality shows are scripted. She explained that episodes are edited because the makers have to condense 24 hours of footage into a much shorter runtime. However, this does not mean that everything that happens inside the house is planned.
The actor also reiterated her support for Mahhi Vij and Qazi, saying she felt Mahhi was speaking normally rather than gossiping about others. In her opinion, many housemates were giving excessive attention to Mahhi and Qazi.
"I salute Mahhi and Qazi for the way they are fighting this battle. They should always stand together, and we will support them. I am 100 per cent with them, and I hope you all support them too," she said.
Reflecting on the weekend episode, Shinde said Salman Khan had openly expressed his views while addressing the contestants. She reiterated her support for Qazi and Mahhi, drawing parallels between their struggles and the challenges she had faced during her own reality show journey.
