Rana Daggubati Speaks on the Hardships of Baahubali

Rana Daggubati, who played King Bhallaladeva in the Baahubali duology, has revealed that the production of the film was so laborious that it took a toll on him both physically and mentally. Since the whole process lasted for six years, he was visibly affected.

In a recent interaction, the Kaantha actor admitted that most of the scenes were demanding. He noted that the team was still discovering how to create such a film at that time. He mentioned that there were not many existing war films to use as a reference. He observed that visual effects had not yet reached today's standards during production. He claimed that the project pushed the boundaries of everyone involved.

Rana shared that his physical appearance changed completely for the role. He recalled wondering if audiences would still recognize him. The multi-lingual actor concluded that the film was aging beautifully and would leave a lasting impact forever.
