Taniya Mittal and Farrhana Bhatt spark nationwide discussion after calling out male contestants for masking insecurity as humor in a bold Bigg Boss 19 moment.

During a household task in Bigg Boss 19, contestant Taniya Mittal took charge of assigning chores, a move that did not sit well with some male housemates, particularly Pranit More and Amaal Malik.

Pranit remarked, “Lagta hai Bigg Boss ne women empowerment ka task de diya hai (It seems as if Big Boss has given task for women empowerment),” implying that Taniya was being overly authoritative. His comment prompted a sharp response from Farrhana Bhatt, who said, “Men in this house hide behind humor when they feel insecure.”

Amaal Malik then added, “Some girls mistake dominance for confidence,” to which Taniya replied, “Whenever a woman speaks assertively, she’s called aggressive — but when a man does it, it’s leadership.”

The exchange quickly escalated into a discussion on gender bias and double standards, dividing the housemates. Gaurav Khanna attempted to diffuse the tension, saying, “Respect must go both ways.” Clips of the argument soon went viral, sparking widespread debate online about casual sexism and gender dynamics.
