Kathayudham: Rahman, Guru Somasundaram team up

K. Balakrishnan who gave the hit film Rummy with Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh is back with a movie titled Kathayudham. Ace actor Rahman whose stakes are high post Dhuruvangal 16 and Guru Somasundaram who hit the limelight with Joker have been roped in as the lead protagonists. Sushma Raj who was noticed when she played opposite to Vijay Antony in the film  India Pakistan is brought on board as the lead lady.

Talking to DC, Balakrishnan says, “Everyone dreams to achieve something or other in life. The film is about two guys who have diversified dreams get acquaintance by chance and how they struggle to realise them. It has a fast paced narration and I completed my first schedule in Pudhukottai. We are planning to shoot in various places including Chennai, Pollachi and Kerala.”

Kaali Venkat, Thulasi, Rama, Bharathi Kannan among others comprise of supporting cast. Srikanth Deva will be scoring the music.
