Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 is one of the most talked-about projects of the year, and the makers are currently busy finalizing robust cameos.
Speculation is rife that Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Vidya Balan, and Mithun Chakraborty are likely to play short roles in the movie, scheduled to be released in theatres after Summer.
Actor Jatin Sarna has further fuelled the excitement by confirming the participation of the Dirty Picture actress and Mithun Chakraborty (who incidentally was the first to confirm SRK's presence). Sarna shared a series of pictures on social media that went viral almost instantly.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on June 12, 2026. Anirudh Ravichander is its music director.
