Natalie Maines files for divorce

The Dixie Chicks’ lead singer Natalie Maines has filed for divorce from her actor husband Adrian Pasdar. TMZ.com reports that the musician cited incorrigible differences in her petition to end her marriage, but a source says that the split is amicable.

When contacted for a comment, however, Natalie’s representative said that she would not like to comment as it is a private family matter. Ironically, only last year, a news site carried a feature article which called the couple one of “Country’s greatest love stories”.
