Superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar are one of the most beloved couples in Tollywood. Their love story began in 2000 on the sets of the film Vamsi. What started as a friendship quickly blossomed into love, and the duo dated quietly for five years before tying the knot in 2005.

Reflecting on their journey, Mahesh once said, “I met her, we fell in love on the sets, and started seeing each other. We dated for five years before we got married.”

Namrata also shared that Mahesh was clear about wanting a non-working wife; as a result, she happily chose to step away from her film career to focus on their life together.
