Chiranjeevi Extends His Heartfelt Best Wishes to Prabhas Ahead of Sankranthi Clash

Setting aside box-office competition during the Sankranthi season, megastar Chiranjeevi extended his best wishes to rival actor Prabhas and other actors.. Speaking at the pre-release event of his upcoming film Mana Sankara Vara Prasad Garu, Chiranjeevi said,v“I sincerely wish Prabhas’ film The Raja Saab does well. Similarly, I want Ravi Teja, Sharwanand and Naveen Polishetty’s films to succeed at the box office this Sankranthi and usher in celebrations for Tollywood,"

Recalling his long-pending collaboration with director Anil Ravipudi, Chiranjeevi said that veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao had suggested the combination years ago. “It took a long time to finally work with Anil Ravipudi. He is very good at scripting and execution within stipulated budgets, which is the key strength of a successful director,” he noted. “Working on this film felt like a picnic after a long time,” he added.

The megastar also had high praise for Venkatesh, who appears in a special role in the film. “Venkatesh has a philosophical mindset. He spreads positive vibes and has very clear life values. He has beautifully balanced his spiritual life with his professional career,” Chiranjeevi said. Sharing an anecdote, he recalled, “Five years ago in Los Angeles, when fans asked us to pose for pictures together, he chose to stand behind me. He wanted to do an Al Pacino–like role alongside me in Telugu and I am ready for it.”

Chiranjeevi further lauded Nayanthara for her performance and appreciated the contributions of the film’s technical team. He expressed special pride in his daughter Sushmita, who handled the production responsibilities. “I am happy with the way Sushmita managed the production. I always tell her that hard work is the only way to succeed. Despite having all the comforts in life, she wanted to prove herself and worked like a dedicated technician or producer. Her commitment truly impressed me,” he concluded.
