2019 is jam-packed for Rajkummar Rao

Rajkummar Rao has been having a wonderful time at the box office doing a mix of blockbusters and content driven films.

“Mental Hai Kya is a cutting-edge film and as is as edgy as the posters are. Kangana and I have amazing characters to play and the film is about their relationship and everything that they indulge in. With a title like Mental Hai Kya What more can you expect?” asks Rao adding that the film’s trailer should be out in February.

The actor has also wrapped up a schedule with Anurag Basu in Bhopal along with actress Fatima Sana Shaikh. Rao is also shooting with Mouni Roy for Made in China. “It is the role of an aspiring Gujarati businessman and that’s what I can say about the film. Turram Khan written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Hansal Mehta is also on the cards. It is a brilliantly written film,” says Rao.

Rao will also reunite with Anurag Basu for Imli. “It is a lovely, sweet and sour relationship story. We haven’t had a love story like that for a long time,” says the actor whose film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga opposite Sonam Kapoor Ahuja releases this week.
