Ramesh Sippy's comeback film Shimla Mirchi starring Hema Malini has no buyers

Ramesh Sippy's come back film Shimla Mirchi' starring Bollywood's dream girl Hema Malini and Rajkummar Rao has generated no curiosity in the market.

Mumbai: The moment Bollywood’s ace filmmaker Ramehs Sippy announced his comeback as a director after 20 long years, it was a day for celebration. Sippy, who has given us blockbuster films such as ‘Sholay’, ‘Andaz’, ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ and many more.

After his last film ‘Zamana Deewana’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena Tandon, which proved to be a debacle at the box office, Ramesh Sippy didn’t sit on the director’s seat for two decades.

But then Ramesh Sippy decided to make a come back with ‘Shimla Mirchi’ starring Bollywood’s dream girl Hema Malini and Rajkummar Rao. The film tells the story of a woman who is in love with a much younger man.

While the film wrapped up nearly a year ago, there’s still no sign of its release. According to reports, the film has no curiosity in the maker and nobody is interested to bet their money on it.
